Casting for a new world

Charlie began his career as a freelance Casting Director in the Chicago Theatre Community. In 2018, he moved to New York for the 2050 Casting Administrative Fellowship at the New York Theatre Workshop. While completing his fellowship, Charlie began casting outside projects, including working with JoAnne Akalaitis on NYU Skirball's production of BAD NEWS! I Was There... Shortly afterwards Charlie became the Casting Director for Musical Theatre Factory. In addition to his work at MTF Charlie freelances in New York and Regional theatre, as a Casting Director and Assistant.   

 Charlie is a proud member of the transgender community and identifies as transmasculine. In addition to Casting, he works as a creative consultant, assisting institutions with gender expansive and empathetic conversations. Charlie believes that not only is the future inclusive, but so is the present.
